Jillian is an artist, activist, and designer that explores the transformative nature of relationships through language-based and abstract art.
Her commercial work, specializing in entertainment advertising and illustration, speaks conceptually and emotively through texture and typography. Her fine art practice focuses on radical presence and observation, exploring community and transformation through the micro of personal experience and relationships. Her time in and around pole dance, sex positive and pro sex work advocacy, storytelling, poetry, and ceramics all inform her work. And she is lit up by work that speaks to culture, community, the sociology of technology, and our natural and metaphysical world.
Her clients include Netflix, Showtime, The New York Times, Criterion, TIME, and Target. And she has been recognized by American Illustration and Society of Publication Designers.
She is currently on contract with Netflix Creative Studio with limited availability for project-based work with non-urgent turnaround times.
